Once you retain our law firm to represent you, we will provide you with regular updates. However, you may communicate with us as often as you wish either by email or telephone. We return all communications the same day or the next business day. If you wish to speak with us in person, you are always welcome to schedule an appointment to meet at our office to discuss your legal matter.
While we are working on your legal matter, situations may arise that require you to decide how you wish to proceed. If this occurs, we will discuss your options with you. We may recommend one option over others, but the final decision will always be yours to make.
We will keep you informed of the status of your legal matter. The status of certain types of legal matters, such as divorce, can even be followed online on the court’s website. We will inform you when we have resolved your legal matter. For example, if you have filed for bankruptcy, we will send you a copy of your bankruptcy discharge, or, if you have filed for divorce, we will send you and your ex-spouse certified copies of the judgment of divorce.
Many of our clients refer their family and friends to us, because we do what we promise, and we make no promises that we cannot keep. If we think that the outcome that you are seeking cannot likely be achieved, we will let you know during our initial consultation. In fact, if we know that what you want is not obtainable, we will tell you at the outset; we will not waste your time or your money.
